Really really late post but here are our cosplays from Anime Boston a couple weeks back! I cosplayed Mami and MintyHoney as Madoka!
First time at a New England anime con and it was great fun! Can’t wait to check it out again next year (and PAX East too, since they won’t be on the same weekend next time!!)
Definitely returning to AB next year! <3

Bows for the hair and waist. I need to add the tails of the bows and then these are good to go!

OKAY MOAR MADOKA PROGRESS~ so fixed up my skirt a bit, shortened the top skirt and flared a bit of the petticoat a bit more. BETTER?

More progress for Madoka!
Although the shoes are not necessarily accurate, I figured this was better than nothing. I painted a pair of heels I found at Payless (they’re surprisingly comfy!)
I just need to attach the ribbon and the shoes are done!

Yellow came from RIT’s Lemon Yellow
Red-Pink came from a mix of Dylon’s Tulip Red & RIT’s Petal Pink
*o* To me they are fairly accurate so far. Just the main pink and the gradient dye left to do!YAY FOR NOT SPENDING ANY MONEY ON FABRIC~
